Model TAL-600R Rewinder

Operating Instructions

NOTE: Always load the TAKE-A-LABEL Rewinder with the On-Off Switch in the OFF position.


TAL-600R Rewinder (Dancer Arm)

  1. Your TAL-600R is shipped ready to use with the automatic speed adjusting dancer arm.
  2. Slide core (Not Supplied) onto rewind shaft in-between the two roll guides.
  3. Thread labels under dancer arm and tape to top or "12 o'clock position" on the 3" core.
  4. Rotate rewind shaft 2-3 turns Counterclockwise.
  5. Insure that the Rewinder is square with printer.
  6. Turn on rewinder. Machine will automatically wind up any excess material and increase or decrease speeds as necessary during label printing.

TAL-600R Rewinder (Direct Rewind)

  1. Your TAL-600R is shipped ready to use with the automatic speed adjusting dancer arm.
  2. Unplug Unit from power source.
  3. Remove housing screws and slide apart housing shell.
  4. On Control Board switch from Dancer to Manual Adjust.
  5. Close housing and seal tightly with all screws.
  6. Slide core (Not Supplied) onto rewind shaft in-between the two roll guides.
  7. Attach labels to core with tape.
  8. Rotate rewind shaft 2-3 turns Counterclockwise.
  9. Turn on rewinder. Rewind speed is now controlled by Rewind Speed Pot.
