CLOTH TAPES
ST-223 - GLASS CLOTH - SILICONE ADHESIVE - Thermosetting Class H insulation
tape. Electrical specs: insulation resistance - 3 x 10³ megohms; indirect electrolytic
corrosion - 333 micromicromhos; dielectric strength - 2500 volts; temperature
classification
- 180ºC. High tensile and resistant to edge tear. Excellent for many electrical and
mechanical applications. Meets Federal Specification MIL-l-19166C.
ST-241 - COTTON CLOTH - UTILITY GRADE Sized backing for more body and stiffness.
Easy handling and dispensing. Good tear properties. Aggressive adhesive system with
good adhesion to its own backing. Excellent for protecting sharp edges, bundling,
cushioning, and can and carton sealing.
ST-250 SILVER DUCT TAPE - POLY LAMINATED - PREMIUM GRADEExcellent
resistance to moisture, solvents, oils, and abrasion. Extra thickness provides ease of
handling and application. Designed for sealing air-handling systems in heating,
ventilating,
and air-conditioning work.
ST-252 - OLIVE DRAB POLY LAMINATED CLOTH TAPE - Used primarily as a
packaging tape having a very aggressive adhesive and a 14-mil overall thickness for ease
of application. Excellent resistance to moisture penetration and outdoor conditions.
ST-253 - POLY LAMINATED CLOTH TAPE - COLORS - Exceptionally smooth backing
permits easy application with no finger abrasion and neat appearance when applied.
Resistant to moisture, solvents, and abrasion. Very high tack adhesive. Available in red,
white, and black.
ST-258 - SILVER DUCT TAPE - POLY LAMINATED - A very durable tape having a very
good ~MVT rating and excellent adhesive properties. Recommended for all general
sealing, packaging, and binding applications as well as duct wrap.
ST-259 - POLY LAMINATED CLOTH TAPE - SILVER - Excellent for many applications
requiring an econo-grade tape. High adhesion properties. Good tensile strength.
Operating temperature range: + 32º to + 150ºF.
ST-260 - POLY LAMINATED CLOTH TAPE - COLORS - PREMIUM GRADE - Offers
good flexibility and conformability. High thread count cotton backing. Exceptional
adhesive
properties along with easy roll unwind. Excellent resistance to most solvents, oils, and
moisture. Available in silver, black, white, red, and olive drab. Meets Federal
Specification
PPP-T-60D.
ST-262 - SILVER DUCT TAPE - POLY LAMINATED - Designed for all general purpose
cloth applications as well as for duct work. Has very adequate strength yet is thin and
flexible, assuring good conformability for wrap-around applications.
ST-264 SILVER DUCT TAPE - POLY LAMINATED - ECONO GRADE Has many good
characteristics found only in more expensive duct tapes. Aggressive adhesive, easy
handling, excellent aging, and resistance to moisture and abrasion.
ST-264C - POLY LAMINATED CLOTH TAPE - COLORS - Has the same fine
characteristics as ST-264, however because of its wide color range finds use as carpet
tape in convention centers and display areas, for color coding, and identification
purposes.
Available in black, white, red, olive drab, tan, gold, dark brown, yellow, blue, and
green.
ST-270 - POLY LAMINATED COTTON CLOTH TAPE - COLORS Very high tensile
strength with exceptional adhesive properties on application and to its own backing. High
count cloth. Excellent barrier to the transmission of water vapor and moisture. Available
in
black, white, red, yellow, green, blue, silver, and olive drab.
ST-271 - POLY LAMINATED COTTON CLOTH TAPE - COLORS Many of the same
properties as ST-270, however is constructed of a medium count cloth. Operating
temperature range: + 32º to + 150ºF. Excellent resistance to moisture and many solvents.
Color availability the same as ST-270.
