Finger Setting Gauge

Adjusting the fingers on the Type 2R gluer is basically the same as all other Potdevin units. Remove the finger assembly from the bar, slip the finger assembly on the post, then loosen the screw holding the finger and slide the finger toward the apex of the cut out, retighten screw. If all the fingers are contacting the glue applicator roll on the same angle you will have less chance of paper tears or jams.

Remove the screw to use the Finger Setting Gauge:

On the newer machines made today there is a sticker on the feed table with directions.
