Double Impulse Foot Sealers

Double impulse foot sealers are built for sealing thick or multi-layer bags—typically 10 to 20 mil—by applying heat from both the upper and lower sealing jaws. This dual-sided heating creates strong, secure seals for heavy-duty poly bags that require more than a standard impulse sealer can provide.

The AIE FD Series is our go-to option for these applications, offering 5mm-wide seals as standard and optional 10mm seal widths by special order. Available in 12", 18", and 24" sealing lengths, each model includes a foot pedal, adjustable worktable, and stand, and is compatible with all AIE foot sealer accessories.

For best results, adjust the heat timer based on your material and keep the foot pedal pressed for a few seconds after the cycle ends to allow the seal to cool and set properly.
