These types of dispensers are not recommended for sealing regular slotted cartons. The problem is pressure sensitive tape requires two hands to handle, and the carton flaps require one. To best demonstrate the difficulty, hand a piece of tape to the packer and ask them to seal the box. Gummed tape is rigid enough and does not stick to everything it comes into contact with until it is rubbed down.
M1000, M1100, and M2000 use the following suffixes for special tape dispensing applications:
- B - Narrow Widths or Thin Film
- C - Flimsy Materials
- D - Short lengths down to 5mm
- E - 2 Rolls up to 1" each
- K - Creaser for KAPTON® Tape
- NM - Non-Marking Rollers
- NS - Non-Stick Rollers
- T - Thin High Tack Tapes
TDA080, TDA150 use the following suffixes:
- LAM - Tape Dispenser WITH LAMINATOR automatically laminates tapes together, then dispenses and cuts the tape.
- LR - Liner Remover Attachment to remove liner from tape as it is dispensed. (Recommend removing the tape from the dispenser when not in use to prevent excessive build up of adhesives on the rollers).
- NM - Tape Dispenser for Protective Film with non-marking rollers.
- NS - Tape Dispenser has been specially designed to ensure smooth dispensing of HIGH ADHESIVE AND TECHNICAL TAPES (like VHB®, ACX® ).
