We offer several brands of electronic gummed tape dispensers.  People like to ask me which is best.  It depends upon how you are using the tape machine.  

If you need repeat lengths of tape, the MSSC remembers the length even after you turn off the machine.  If you want automatic dispensing, the Better Pack BP555eSA does that.  If you want hands free dispensing of the same length the Phoenix does that.

All of the machines work by pressing a set length button and getting a piece of tape. But don't settle on cost, look at the features.
