Gluefast GF#816P Resin Adhesive – 5-Gallon Pail
High-Tack Adhesive for Challenging Labeling Applications
Shipping Note: Due to UPS surcharges on packages exceeding 50 lb., the 5-gallon pail is shipped as two separate boxes—one containing four 1-gallon containers and the other a single 1-gallon container. This packaging method ensures each box stays under the 50 lb. threshold, avoiding extra fees. Although it arrives in two boxes, this method is still more cost-effective than shipping a single 5-gallon container.
Applications:
GF#816P is a water-based resin adhesive designed for bonding paper labels to difficult surfaces such as polystyrene, PVC, coated materials, treated polyethylene, and some metals. It is also effective for glass, wood, and carton labeling. Common uses include mounting prints to MDF, gluing fabrics or carpet swatches to paper stock for sample books, and case sealing or padding applications.
Note: GF#816P is not acid-free.

Application Equipment:
Compatible with manual and electric tabletop gluers, including Gluefast and folder gluers. Also suitable for pot-and-brush applications.
If you currently use GF774, GF774T, or GF59, GF#816P may be a suitable alternative.
Handling & Storage:
- Store at room temperature; rotate stock using oldest material first
- Shelf life: six months
- Keep from freezing
Cleanup:
- Clean equipment daily with soap and water, or a 50:50 alcohol and water solution
- Re-oil gluing equipment per manufacturer’s instructions after cleaning
