86115 - Flexible Motion Mounting Bracket
By offering adaptability, specialized features, and ease of installation, our moving bracket provides a comprehensive solution for various printing needs in your production environment.
Earlier this year, MSSC introduced a floating printhead bracket for the PRO Printhead (TS and CORE). While this was originally designed for printing directly on eggs, the bracket can also be used to print along uneven surfaces, such as bags, flexible pouches, and other applications where the printhead needs to "float" across the product surface. It is not designed to take big impacts; you will need to ensure there is protection for the printhead. However, in certain applications, the Floating Printhead Bracket will ensure proper printhead to substrate distance and deliver excellent print quality on uneven surfaces.
There are two components. The Floating Printhead Bracket (p/n 86115; for PRO Printheads only) and the Vertical Adjustment Bridge (p/n 86120) to mount the Floating Printhead Bracket if printing down. In most applications, you will not need the Vertical Adjustment Bridge. The included bracketry with each printhead should work in most applications. You can also add the separate Conveyor Mount Bracketry Kit (p/n 80825) to increase the mounting options and functionality.
