Carton Coding
Print up to 2"/50.8 mm on one side or up to 1"/25.4 mm on two sides of a carton or pallet with the standard controller purchased separately.
Primary Product Coding
Easily print QR Codes directly onto products. The Smart-Jet® One controller with one Smart-Jet® TS MAX 1"/25.4 mm printhead enables printing directly onto any product, including glass, plastic, and film. With more difficult curves you may need the Smart-Jet® REACH with the longer throw.
VFFS/Web Printing
Integrate the printer into your machinery.
The Smart-Jet® HEX controller with six Smart-Jet® TS MAX 1"/25.4 mm printheads enables you to print up to six separate lines in a VFFS machine. The HEX print controller prints realtime data, including date/time, lot and serial codes, and variable data fields, and can be controlled via Ethernet. It can also import and print information from a database. With solvent ink, the dry time on most materials is within 1-2 seconds, with print speeds up to 394 ft./120 m per Min. Printheads can be mounted up to 33 ft./10 m away from the HEX controller using the optional 33 ft./10 m printhead data cables.
Label Applicator/Friction Feeder
Install onto an inline or offline label applicator like our Dispensamatic or Take-A-Label units.
MSSC Smart-Jet® touch screen print controllers can easily integrate into label dispensers, label applicators, and friction feeders. If you need to date or lot code a certain number of products, you can program a friction feeder to dispense them under the Smart-Jet® series printers to print the variable information prior to packaging.
