Product Type: Protein gelatin glue in cake form. Sold by the box. Weight between 35-42 pounds based on solids.
Applications: Well suited for use in gluing machinery for case making, print mounting work, photo-albums, and bindery where high tack glue with strong adhesion to difficult materials is important.
Features: High initial tack with medium setting speeds offering superior adhesion to difficult surfaces. Operates well when diluted 10-20% by weight depending on the material to be glued and the desired tack. Adding more water reduces tack which is good for thinner materials.
Application Equipment: Manual or electric table top label gluers with heated glue tray to warm the glue to 140-150ºF (60-66ºC). The operator starts by adding 10-20% water dilution by weight of glue. We recommend continually adding water to the glue at a rate of 1-3 drops per second. Great for use in Colonel Gluers or Captain-B-AG gluers with heaters.
FDA Status: Ingredients comply with regulations for us in Food Packaging Adhesives as per regulation 175.105. These adhesives are also chemically acceptable to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and may be used with other packaging materials in minimal contact with meat or poultry food products prepared under federal inspection.
Storage Conditions: Store at room temperature. Rotate stock using oldest material first. Shelf life is twelve months. Although this product is freeze thaw stable, it should be stored in an area that will keep it from freezing.
