Pro Pack Solutions offers a complete selection of Better Packages gummed tape dispensers used for sealing cartons with water activated tape. These machines are commonly found in shipping departments, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and fulfillment centers where secure carton sealing is required.

Water activated tape dispensers moisten gummed paper tape with water and cut it to length as it is dispensed. When applied to a corrugated carton the adhesive bonds with the carton fibers, creating a strong seal that helps prevent cartons from opening during shipment. This method is widely used for shipping products via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers.

Manual vs Electronic Gummed Tape Dispensers

Manual dispensers such as the BP333 require the operator to pull the tape to the desired length before cutting it. Electronic machines automate the measuring and cutting process, allowing operators to quickly dispense consistent tape lengths and improve packaging efficiency.

BP333 - The BP333 is one of the most popular manual gummed tape dispensers. It dispenses water activated tape up to 3 inches wide and is commonly used in small shipping departments or packing stations.

BP500 - The BP500 electronic dispenser allows operators to press a button to dispense a preset length of gummed tape. This improves efficiency in moderate shipping environments where consistent tape lengths are required.

BP555eS - Most popular electronic water activated gummed paper tape dispenser. The BP555e series is widely used in high volume shipping operations. These machines automatically dispense measured lengths of water activated tape and can be integrated with accessories such as foot switches and printing systems.

BP555eSA - Most popular electronic water activated gummed paper tape dispenser with automatic dispensing features.

SJP-BP555eS - Most popular with the Smart Jet ink jet printer to add code dates, lot numbers, expiration dates, or other identifying information on the tape as it is dispensed.

SJP-555eSA - with and INK JET PRINTER! Code and identify your tape with dates, shift, or contents using the MSSC Smart Jet Printer. Adaptable to all BP555e models.

SpaSaver Stand - Discontinued. For placing the tape dispenser over conveyor lines, above counter top. Makes machine easier to use. Used on BP554, BP555, and BP556 models. (Does not fit the BP555e series)
