This is the modern, 21st century version of the CodeTaper concept without the mess of ink rollers and rubber letters. Programming is simple with keyboard entry or LAN connection. Printing directly on the tape at the point of sealing helps ensure the code stays with the box.

Because the Smart-Jet prints while the BP555e is actively feeding and cutting tape, occasional print variation may occur. These are normal behaviors of on-demand printing on reinforced water activated tape and can be minimized with proper setup and handling. Here are sample prints:
