Case Sealers
We offer uniform and random case sealers for 2 and/or 3 inch wide pressure sensitive tape. Avoid locking yourself into a tape contract just to purchase a machine! Eagle brand machines are basic and easy to set up. Plastic tape works best with uniformly filled cartons composed of minimal recycled content. If your cartons have a high recycled content with a dusty surface, gummed tape may work best. If your cartons are under stuffed or over stuffed, case sealers may interfere with proper tape adhesion to the box.
Looking to code or print information on your cartons as they are being sealed? We offer two methods:
- Case Coders: Simple, mechanical machines that roll your message on to the box as it passes using RIBType characters and mats. This method is best for operations where information does not change.
- Thermal Ink Jet Printers: High-quality printing with variable information. Looking to print case counts, or varying lot information on boxes as they're being sealed? Our line of Thermal Ink Jet Printers can be mounted to a case sealer, and print a wide variety of constant or varying information on the side of your cartons.
Water activated case sealers use gummed tape to seal cartons. The initial investment is greater but the superior benefits of gummed tape outweigh the additional cost.
