Over time, this shelf can wear in such a way where it allows the water tank and brushes to lean too far forward. This leads to operators taping this shelf in place to help keep the water tank upright. When this occurs, replace the shelf.
This shelf can be removed by carefully pressing the plastic tabs inward. We normally pop one side out at a time. To install the shelf, we recommend having both plastic side covers in place. This helps protect the plastic tabs from scraping up against the metal side frames. Give a call if you have questions on installing/removing this part.
