Fits Better Packages BP555eSA/BP555eLA model gummed tape dispensers that automatically dispense tape.
This is the sensor that clicks in to the back of the heater part number E555-007-01. When this sensor is cracked or the wires are broken, the machine will beep with every piece of tape that's dispensed. We typically use a small flat head screw driver to gently push one side out of the heater fastener & the wiggle it off the post. It may be good to go ahead and remove this sensor prior to order if you know it's broken. That way you can be sure that it comes off the heater without damaging the heater. If you have a BP555eS machine - with no automatic function - your machine does not require this sensor. Check the top of the keypad for the model name, or look to see if there's an "A" button at the top right of the keypad to help determine which model you have.
BP555eSA - 6-45" in 3" increments with automatic features.
BP555eLA - 12-90" in 6" increments with automatic features.
