Gluefast GF878P Adhesive
Recommended for gluing, offering excellent lay-flat & neutral pH (Adhesive is acid free). Clean up is with a little soap and water. Make sure to re-oil your machine after it dries.
PRODUCT TYPE: Water based resin emulsion adhesives.
APPLICATIONS: Applying small to large paper labels (i.e. for Point-of-Purchase displays) to cartons, craft paper various corrugated containers and wooden surfaces. It has been used for business card duplexing. This product is a superior “mounting” adhesive and an excellent product for use as a paper bag-closing adhesive on equipment requiring low viscosity and good open time properties. This adhesive has also been used as a photo mounting adhesive and is acid free.
FEATURES: Moderately fast setting, high solids, low viscosity adhesive exhibiting good lay-flat, non-wrinkling type characteristics needed in labeling, mounting and bag closing applications. This adhesive provides good penetration into plain, inked and some coated surfaces. This adhesive is acid free.
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: Manual and electric tabletop label gluers such as those manufactured by Gluefast. This product also works well in bag making machinery and in other semi/fully automatic packaging equipment. If mounting by hand without gluing equipment, use a ¼” nap paint roller and apply a thin even film across the entire surface. Only one surface should be coated with adhesive. Gluing equipment should be cleaned daily for best results. When applied with one of our label gluers you get a yield of about 500 square feet per gallon.
