GF#5 is water based dextrin glue for labeling applications.
GF#5 is ideally suited for use in manual label gluers for labeling plain paper, Kraft, corrugated cartons, wood, and some glass. It may adhere labels to treated polyethylene and polypropylene. (GF5TT liquid glue has additional antifoam solution and is recommended for use in electric label gluers.)
FDA status: Ingredients comply with regulations for US in Food Packaging Adhesives as per regulation 175.105. These adhesives are also chemically acceptable to the US Department of Agriculture and may be used with other packaging materials in minimal contact with mean or poultry food products prepared under federal inspection.

Solids: 40-44%
Cleanup solvent: A 50:50 solution of alcohol and water or a strong industrial solvent. A waterless hand cleaner is suggested for removal of adhesive from the hands. Dispose of according to local and state regulations.
Storage: Room temperature. Rotate stock. Shelf life is 12 months.
