Read these directions carefully before attempting to ink rolls.
Fill a container with coder ink to a level deep enough to completely submerge the roll. Carefully place the roll into the container of ink. DO NOT ROTATE THE ROLL TO COAT THE ENTIRE SURFACE. Let the roll soak until it is completely submerged. It is very important that you do not rotate the roll once you have placed it in the ink container. If the surface of the roll is completely covered, it will not allow the air to escape out of the top surfaces and therefore proper inking will not be obtained.
A dry XF Neoprene ink roll has the same characteristics as a sponge with the capacity to absorb approximately 1 - 1.5 fluid ounces of ink. Please follow the guidelines below to properly pre-ink your roll
Installing an over-saturated ink roll on your coder will result in poor print quality and possible ink leakage problems.
