NexGen Battery Powered Strapping Tool for High-Volume Pallet Strapping
The NexGen and NexGen HD Battery Powered Strapping Tool is built for warehouse and distribution environments where pallets are strapped continuously throughout the day. Designed for polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET) strapping, this tool tensions, friction welds, and cuts in a single cycle to streamline palletizing operations. Cycle time is approximately 5 seconds per cycle.
The NexGen HD configuration (for 5/8"–3/4" strapping material) is the primary choice for high-volume pallet strapping applications.
This is not a light-duty tool. The NexGen series is engineered for high-throughput applications where consistency, speed, and repeatability matter across dozens to hundreds of pallets per day. Routine maintenance includes clearing debris from the tensioning wheel, gripper, and cutter areas to maintain proper strap engagement and seal quality.
Choosing the Right Configuration
- Using 1/2" Strapping: Select the NexGen model. This tool is specifically configured for 1/2" (12mm) poly strapping and will not accommodate wider strap sizes.
- Using 5/8"-3/4" Strapping: Select the NexGen HD model. This configuration is required for 5/8"–3/4" (16–19mm) poly strapping and is not interchangeable with the 1/2" model.
Strap width determines the correct model. These configurations are not interchangeable, so confirm your strap size before selecting.

Poly strapping offers flexibility and shock absorption for palletized goods, but extremely heavy or rigid loads may require steel strapping instead. This tool is built specifically for poly strapping systems.
