The Phoenix M-2 is a manual water activated tape (gummed tape) dispenser designed for shipping stations that want the simplicity of pull-handle operation with the added benefit of consistent adhesive activation. Operators pull the handle to dispense tape, tear it cleanly, and apply it directly to the carton for a strong, tamper-evident seal.
What sets the M-2 apart is its preset-temperature top heater (115V) combined with a thicker wide brush moistening system. The heater is factory-set to maintain an optimal operating temperature to help reactivate hardened adhesive and support consistent wet-out, particularly in cooler warehouse or shipping environments. Use the machine with or without the heater depending upon power availability.
Water activated tape bonds directly to corrugated fiberboard, creating a reinforced seal that can improve carton integrity, reduce pilferage, and present a cleaner, more professional shipment. The Phoenix M-2 provides that benefit with simple, durable manual operation.
