The clamshell sealer is a powerful machine. It is designed to secure packages so that nothing comes loose during the shipping process, and it is designed to do that on its own. With that said, it may require maintenance as parts, such as the jaws, wear out over time. Anyone involved in packaging should prepare for issues like this so they can resolve any technical issues and resume work as soon as possible. Pro Pack Solutions offers sets of replacement jaws for DPC-100 sealers, which are quick and simple to install.

In addition to replacement parts, Pro Pack Solutions can also supply you with sealing jaw accessories. More specifically, we offer tools that can create wider and longer clam shell seals, which make for greater security on larger packages. A set of extra-wide jaws can add 3/4 of an inch to DPC-10 constant heat sealer. This and other sealing jaw accessories only require the use of a common screwdriver to be installed onto a sealer.
