United RIBtype provides a practical, low cost alternative to inkjet systems for date coding, operator identification, product marking, and general coding needs. The system works with hand coders, conveyor roll coders, and tape machine printers, making it a reliable solution across many production setups.

- Style A: Standard font
- Style U: Bold font
- Orientation: Horizontal is standard; vertical can be special ordered
Material Options
All products listed online are standard RIBtype characters molded in a 55 durometer natural rubber. For specialized environments, custom materials can be ordered:
- 30 durometer natural rubber for applications requiring a softer character
- Deep relief logo type for non porous, fast drying inks that tend to cause buildup
- Black Buna for oil and acid resistance
- Black EP (EPDM) for acids, caustics, and alcohol applications
- Black Neoprene for broader chemical resistance
- Green PVC for small text on plastics, Tyvek, and use with reciprocating printers
- Silicone for thermal and hot ink transfer printers
