The Smart-Jet 85803 MEK Black REACH Ink Cartridge is a solvent-based formulation designed specifically for the Smart-Jet REACH printhead (TS & CORE). Each generation of this cartridge has delivered enhanced adhesion, faster drying time, and greater print stability on difficult surfaces. This ½-inch MEK cartridge provides extended throw distance (up to 10 mm) capability allowing the printer to apply clear, legible marks even on recessed surfaces such as the bottom of beverage cans or other concave packaging. The result is sharp, durable prints on metal, glass, plastics, PET, and film where other inks may struggle to reach.
Ideal for coding and marking on metal cans, PET bottles, coated films, and foil packaging where extended throw distance or concave marking is required.
Due to the hazardous nature of MEK solvent ink, this cartridge cannot ship by air (2nd Day or Next Day Air) from our Loganville, Georgia facility. Customers requiring air shipment must call our office by 1:00 PM EST to confirm same-day eligibility and arrange appropriate shipping from MSSC's warehouse.
