The TH55LXXX Top Heater is a replacement heater used on the Better Packages BP500 water-activated (gummed) tape dispenser. It adds heat at the moistening zone to help the gum adhesive reactivate more consistently, improving tack and carton seal reliability.

There are multiple BP500 top heater styles. This part is the TH55LXXX version. If your BP500 heater uses a standard three-prong plug, you likely need the TH55PXXXK style instead. If your heater is hard-wired, TH55LXXX is typically the correct match.

Quick Performance Tip

Heat helps, but brush condition still matters. Dirty or worn moistening brushes can prevent proper wet-out and lead to weak seals that look like a heater problem.
