The Kiwi coders are a lot cheaper than expensive ink jet systems and are top of the line all metal marking devices that will yield years of service under extreme conditions.
The Series 450 Coders form the basis for an the Orbit series coders described on our website. Ruggedly built and easily installed, these coders incorporate a newly-designed marking wheel which simplifies and speeds "on-the-fly" changes in imprint information. A simple twist of the locking knob allows the marking wheel to be removed quickly from the coder. Spare print wheels- pre-set with the new imprint data can be mounted easily. A splined hub on the marking wheel allows rapid adjustment of imprint location in 1/4" increments without tools. These coders can be mounted above, below, or alongside the conveyor line as required. The Model 452 offers 2" high. Messages run up to 12" in length.
To determine left or right, look in the direction of the carton exit (away from you) and determine which side of the case sealer or conveyor you want to mount the unit on.
