5UN3541 Solenoid Assembly 115V for Better Packages BP755eS
The 5UN3541 Solenoid Assembly (115V) is a critical control component in the
Better Packages BP755eS gummed tape dispenser. This solenoid activates the cutting and feeding cycle by lifting the blade and engaging the feed wheels during tape dispensing.
What the Solenoid Does
- Raises the cutting blade when energized.
- Brings the feed wheels together to advance tape.
- When deactivated, the blade drops to cut the tape cleanly.
If the solenoid does not function properly, the machine may fail to feed tape, cut inconsistently, or stop cycling altogether.
Common Failure Symptoms
- Buzzing or humming during operation
- Blade no lifting and Feed wheels not engaging
Important: Buzzing Does Not Always Mean Replacement
If the solenoid is buzzing, first inspect for dust, adhesive debris, or mechanical obstruction. Cleaning the plunger area may restore normal operation.
Low voltage can also cause buzzing. When too many electrical devices share the same circuit, voltage may drop below proper operating range. Prolonged low-voltage operation can overheat and permanently damage the solenoid coil.
Voltage Requirement
- 115 Volt version
- Designed specifically for BP755eS 115V machines
Before Ordering
Confirm your machine model and voltage. Installing the wrong voltage solenoid can cause immediate failure.
