Large Bundling of Wires?
Bundling wires can be quite a challenge. What is the best method? Rubber bands, tape, or wire twist tie? Sometimes talking with a salesperson will get you a $6,000.00 solutions for a $20.00 problem!
We used a simple Label Protection Dispenser and strapping tape to wrap wire bundles of different sizes. By using strapping tape sticky side up, we took the spool of material, then took the leading edge of the tape and stuck it to the spool, then pulled enough tape past the blade to tear it off and fully wrap the spool of material. This low end system is great for bundles above 1" up to the amount an operator can handle.
