This part rarely fails. If the tape is not feeding properly check the lower feed wheel adjustment. When the the lower idler assembly fails, the wheel is often times cockeyed/crooked on the shaft. There can also be a "clunky" sound as the wheels spin. Tape will also run into the side of the cutting blade since the tape is running cockeyed.
