The E55526401 Water Bottle and Cap Assembly is the replacement water reservoir used on Better Packages BP555e series electronic gummed tape dispensers. The bottle holds the water supply that feeds the machine’s moistening brushes, allowing water-activated tape to be properly wetted before it is applied to cartons.
Water-activated tape requires consistent moisture to activate the adhesive. This bottle stores the water used by the moistening system and supplies it to the brushes during operation. If the bottle becomes cracked, brittle, or damaged it can leak or fail to provide enough water for proper tape activation.
