The Take-A-Label TAL-610R with Dancer Arm is a heavy duty web rewinder designed for unattended operation (dancer arm) and controlled rewind tension (variable speed motor). It is most commonly used with pressure sensitive labels, but its core function is to rewind continuous webbing cleanly and safely without placing unnecessary strain on upstream equipment. Any compatible continuous webbing within the stated width, core size, and tension limits can typically be rewound.
The integrated dancer arm manages slack between the printer or unwind source and the rewinder. As webbing accumulates, the rewinder pulls slack until the dancer arm rises, at which point the motor automatically slows and stops. When printing or feeding resumes, the rewinder restarts on its own. This allows operators to run long jobs, walk away, and return to a finished roll without constant supervision.
The TAL-610RDA handles webbing up to 6.5 inches wide. This measurement refers to the full web, not just the label face. For example, a 6.5 inch wide label typically requires slightly wider backing material once liner margins are included.
A 3 inch expanding mandrel allows operators to secure a core quickly, rewind material, then release tension to slide the finished roll off easily without tools.

Standalone Rewinding
The TAL-610RDA can also be used as a standalone rewinder for pre-printed material when paired with an unwind stand such as the TAL-100HD Unwind Stand. Rewind label rolls to flip their orientation from Copy Position 1 to 2 and vice-versa, or Copy Position 3 to 4 and vice-versa.
