It all depends upon how many different sizes of cartons you are sealing, the size(s) of the boxes, if they are overpacked or underpacked, top, bottom, or both sealed, and if an operator will introduce the carton to the sealer or if you will have an operator.
The most common case sealer is the Uniform Carton Sealer type.
Top and bottom, or bottom seal only 
The Eagle T100 is designed for facilities that run the same carton size for extended production periods, making it an ideal solution for uniform case sealing applications. Its reliable top and bottom sealing, combined with a simple and cost-effective design, helps reduce labor while improving packaging efficiency. When you need to change box sizes, the machine will need to be adjusted.
If you have multiple size cartons on the same conveyor, the Random Carton Sealer type is better.
The Eagle T550RL is designed for e-commerce, fulfillment, and distribution centers that handle multiple carton sizes throughout the day, automatically adjusting to different box dimensions without manual changeovers. Fully automatic models are available in both Uniform or Random versions.
