The AIE-405 is a 16" tabletop impulse hand sealer with a wide 5 mm seal, ideal for sealing polyethylene and polypropylene bags when you need extra durability and strength in your seal. This unit is well-suited for medium-volume packaging where a broader seal provides added confidence in closure integrity.
It features an adjustable timer to dial in the right seal time for different material thicknesses. Like all impulse sealers, it only heats while the arm is pressed, making it safer for operators and easier on components.
How it works: Place the bag on the Teflon-coated heating strip, lower the sealing arm, and wait for the red indicator light to turn off. Hold the arm down for a few extra seconds to allow the seal to cool and set before lifting and removing the bag.
