CLP-XC1 XF 1" NEOPRENE ink rolls are made from extra firm density foam. Although not quite as durable as Microcell, XF Neoprene rolls offer slightly higher print quality and are recommended especially where 3 or 4 lines of type are required.
Features:
These rolls can be used with Universal #1150 Ink for porous applications. These rolls are re-inkable for maximum economy.
Important
Read these directions carefully before attempting to ink rolls.
Pour approximately 1" of coder ink into the bottom of a small, clean container. (A cut down 2 Liter pop bottle works great). Using a safety approved glove, place roller into the container and rotate to saturate entire surface with ink. With the palm of your hand, press roller against bottom of container to force air out of the roller and allow ink into the roller. Repeat this process until no more ink can be absorbed. Hold the roller over container and squeeze approximately 1/2 of the ink out of the roll. Roll should be partially saturated, not dripping wet. Over-inked rolls will give smudged impressions and will drip excessively.
Ink Rolls made from Neoprene materials are inked using a different procedure than inking the Microcell Ink Rolls.
