Felt and Bracket Kit for Model BP555e Series, BP500, and BP555S gummed tape dispensers. The purpose of the felt pad is to supply the blade with a light bit of oil over time. Use a light weight machine oil to oil the felt pad.
How often you'll need to oil the felt pad depends upon machine usage. We recommend checking the felt pad every couple months. This keeps the cutter blades sharp and clean, and prevents the build up of adhesion on the back of the blade.
