The oiler pad fits BP555e, BP500, BP555S and L Series, BP556, and BP554 Better Packages gummed tape dispensers. If you're replacing this part, you may also need to replace the spring or the pivot rod. If you need to replace all three, we sell a kit.
Note: To maintain sharp clean blades, add a few drops of machine oil when installing, and continue to oil once per month. We use ZOOM Spout Oil which is a light-grade sewing machine oil. A well oiled felt pad helps prevent the build up of tape gunk on the back side of the blade.
We recommend replacing the felt pad if you are also replacing the cutting shears FM20BXK.
